Tessa McEwan

Founder and Director

Tessa founded Developing Talent Ltd in 2008 to introduce more effective assessment processes and ways of developing people for the benefit of her clients. She is accredited to use market leading psychometric tools such as the Hogan Development Survey. In recent years she has become an expert in developing resilience and workplace mindfulness. She trained at Exeter University and the Oxford Mindfulness Centre (University of Oxford) and she is a holder of their “Certificate of Readiness to Teach Mindfulness in the Workplace”. Over the past two decades she has run a successful business delivering bespoke and high quality services to a range of organisations in diverse sectors, including financial, legal, engineering, and professional services firms.

Previously, Tessa qualified as a corporate tax consultant with KPMG where she worked with financial, information technology and communication sector clients. Following her interest in people, she managed the London graduate recruitment department before leaving KPMG and founding Developing Talent Ltd.

With a focus on continuous improvement and best practice, Tessa adheres to the UK Good Practice Guidelines for Mindfulness Teachers and receives professional supervision for her mindfulness work.

Tessa has a young daughter and a grown up stepdaughter. She lives with her family in Berkshire and loves spending time on the river Thames and in the surrounding countryside.
